سورة الأعـلى
اٰیاتہا 19
 The Most High / Al A'la (Recite)

Tarteeb e Nuzool:(8)Tarteeb e Tilawat:(87)Mushtamil e Para:(30)Total Aayaat:(19)
Total Ruku:(1)Total Words:(82)Total Letters:(295)Meccan (مکی)
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان رحم والا
سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْاَعْلَى1 
اپنے رب کے نام کی پاکی بولو جب سے بلند ہے
Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme.
الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰى2 
جس نے بناکر ٹھیک کیا
The One Who created, and then made proper.
وَالَّذِيْ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰى3 
اور جس نے اندازہ پر رکھ کر راہ دی
And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided.
وَالَّذِيْٓ اَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعٰى4 
اور جس نے چارہ نکالا
The One Who produced pasture.
فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَاۗءً اَحْوٰى5 
پھر اسے خشک سیاہ کردیا
Then made it dry and dark.
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنْسٰٓى6 
اب ہم تمہیں پڑھائیں گے کہ تم نہ بھولو گے
We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget.
اِلَّا مَا شَاۗءَ اللّٰهُ ۭ اِنَّهٗ يَعْلَمُ الْجَـهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفٰى7 
مگر جو اللہ چاہے بیشک وہ جانتا ہے ہر کھلے اور چھپے کو
Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرٰى8 
اور ہم تمہارے لیے آسانی کا سامان کردیں گے
And We shall create the means of ease for you.
فَذَكِّرْ اِنْ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرٰى9 
تو تم نصیحت فرماؤ اگر نصیحت کام دے
Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial.
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَّخْشٰى10 
عنقریب نصیحت مانے گا جو ڈرتا ہے
Soon whoever fears will heed advice.
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْاَشْقَى11 
اور اس سے وہ بڑا بدبخت دور رہے گا
And the most wicked will stay away from it.
الَّذِيْ يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرٰى12 
جو سب سے بڑی آگ میں جائے گا
The one who will enter the biggest fire.
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوْتُ فِيْهَا وَلَا يَحْيٰي13 
پھر نہ اس میں مرے اور نہ جیے
Then he neither dies in it, nor lives.
قَدْ اَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكّٰى14 
بیشک مراد کو پہنچا جو ستھرا ہوا
Indeed successful is the one who became pure.
وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰى15 
اور اپنے رب کا نام لے کر نماز پڑھی
And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer.
بَلْ تُـؤْثِرُوْنَ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا16 
بلکہ تم جیتی دنیا کو ترجیح دیتے ہو
But rather you prefer the life of this world!
وَالْاٰخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَّاَبْقٰى17 
اور آخرت بہتر اور باقی رہنے والی
Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting.
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْاُوْلٰى18 
بیشک یہ اگلے صحیفوں میں ہے
Indeed this is in the former scriptures.
صُحُفِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَمُوْسٰى ۧ19 
ابراہیم اور موسیٰ کے صحیفوں میں
In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa.
