اٰیاتہا 5
 The Elephant / Al Fil (Recite)

Tarteeb e Nuzool:(19)Tarteeb e Tilawat:(105)Mushtamil e Para:(30)Total Aayaat:(5)
Total Ruku:(1)Total Words:(24)Total Letters:(96)Meccan (مکی)
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان رحم والا
اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحٰبِ الْفِيْلِ1 
اے محبوب! کیا تم نے نہ دیکھا تمہارے رب نے ان ہاتھی والوں کیا حال کیا
O dear Prophet (Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant?
اَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِيْ تَضْلِيْلٍ2 
کیا ان کا داؤ تباہی میں نہ ڈالا
Did He not put their scheme into ruin?
وَّاَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا اَبَابِيْلَ3 
اور ان پر پرندوں کی ٹکڑیاں (فوجیں) بھیجیں
And send flocks of birds upon them,
تَرْمِيْهِمْ بِحِـجَارَةٍ مِّنْ سِجِّيْلٍ4 
کہ انہیں کنکر کے پتھروں سے مارتے
Which hit them with stones of baked clay,
فَجَــعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّاْكُوْلٍ ۧ5 
تو انہیں کر ڈالا جیسے کھائی کھیتی کی پتی (بھوسہ)
So He made them like the leftover devoured leaves of farms?
